Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1. These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you can use our website and place orders for items from Blue Sky Printing. By ordering goods from Blue Sky Printing you are deemed to have understood and accepted these terms. The supplier of the goods featured is Blue Sky Printing.

1.2 When placing an order with us, although we may have taken payment for your order, we may not actually accept the order. Its only once we review your order and check its okay that we will accept it.

2. Image Cropping and Gallery Wrapping

2.1. To fit your photo onto the specified canvas size we will often have to crop the original photo. We will do this with the utmost sensitivity to retain the original feel of the image but we will not be held responsible for cropping out any part of the image. If there are specific parts of the photo that you would like to keep on the front of the canvas you should let us know in advance.

2.2. Gallery wrapping is also a popular choice but to “wrap” the image the photo must be enlarged to cover the edges of the frame. Our frames have a depth of 18mm and we therefore have to enlarge your image by 38mm in length and width to cover these edges. Sometimes this will lead to an important part of your photo ending up on the side of the canvas (for example part of a face, an eye, or a large part of a head). In these circumstances we reserve the right to not gallery wrap your image but will print the photo on the front of the canvas and use a white edge wrap instead. If you have ordered multiple canvases we will print all in the same style for consistency. This retains the best overall feel from your photos.

2.3. For images that do not fit our standard frames sizes it may be necessary to amend your order and have white space either at the top and bottom or each side of the print. To avoid this please consider selecting a custom size frame or contact us prior to ordering.

2.4 When you email us an image, we will take this image and as standard, fit it best to the frame with a gallery wrap. This ensures that we can process orders in an efficient manner.Customers must also be aware that when applying a frame upgrade, more of the image will be wrapped around the sides of the canvas than the preview may have presented.

2.5 Unless otherwsie notified from you in advance, we will use normal colour settings, gallery wrap your image and post it out. Under no circumstances will we be held liablile for any issues whereby we have wrapped an image, with part or some of the important features being wrapped on the edge which you are not happy with.

2.6 We will do our upmost to crop and position your image as you have specified when uploading online, but we may have to change things in order to get your image to fit on the ratios our canvases are printed around. We do not offer an exact match service, this may mean we have to crop, align or slightly widden or narrow your image in order for it to fit our templates. Please be aware the online image you see is mearly a preview.

3. Colour & Image Quality

3.1. Whilst we try our very best to colour match every photo we cannot be held responsible for exact colour matching requirements. Colours may appear differently on your computer screen than ours (due to contrast, hue settings on your monitor) and we will not accept returns for colour related issues.

3.2. All orders placed are automatically sent to print, for this reason we are not able to replace/refund any order where a customer is not satisfied with the print quality of their image. The printers print high quality, but if given a low quality image it can only print at the low quality. The customer is fully responsilble for the image supplied, we will assume that you own the copyright of this image and also are aware of its resolution. We wil not accept returns on an image being of not high enough quality, its down to you to check this.
